Good News: Most People with Diabetes Properly Diagnosed

A new study suggests that U.S. diabetes cases that go undiagnosed may be just 11%, or just over one tenth of people with diabetes. This is much lower than the previously accepted estimates, which concluded one quarter to one third of people with diabetes went undiagnosed.  The proportion of undiagnosed cases has also been declining over time, suggesting that diabetes testing is becoming widespread.
