Could Working Long Hours Increase Diabetes Risk for Women?

New research suggests that women who work at their jobs for 45 or more hours a week have a higher risk of type 2 diabetes than women who work 35 to 40 hours each week. It’s not clear why working longer hours may increase diabetes risk in women, but the researchers suspect that doing more unpaid work at home as well may be a factor.  Read more
