Six Types of Prediabetes Identified

Prediabetes is the term for the condition when blood sugar levels are consistently high, but the patient has not yet developed full-blown type 2 diabetes. People with prediabetes are often treated with lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise, and sometimes with medication.
