his month, we attended the 74th annual Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association, the largest diabetes conferences of the year. Lucky for us, it was held in our hometown of San Francisco. The conference featured updates on major progress with the artificial pancreas, a new and exciting (and a bit daunting) position statement for type 1 diabetes, and progress in type 1 diabetes cure research.
