Heart Failure Risk in Diabetes Patients

The link between diabetes and cardiovascular issues is well known. A new study suggests that heart failure is also a significant factor. While a heart attack is usually sudden and results from an arterial blockage, heart failure is usually the result of a gradual weakening of the heart muscle.
