Eating Whole Grains Reduces Type 2 Risk

Researchers from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health said that eating one to two portions of brown rice, bulgur, millet or buckwheat reduced people’s risk of type 2 diabetes by 29 per cent compared to those who ate few whole grains. The researchers also found that eating at least one serving of oatmeal or brown rice on a daily basis reduced diabetes risk. Read more
